HiveWatch Adds Jamie Howard to Board of Directors, Formalizes Board of Advisors

HiveWatch, a physical security software company reimagining how organizations keep their people and assets safe, today announced the addition of Jamie Howard to its Board of Directors and the formalization of its Board of Advisors to help guide the company as it continues to realize significant growth.

Howard joins the HiveWatch Board of Directors while currently serving as the Founder & CEO of Mile One Group, a strategic consulting firm specializing in technology business consulting, startup advisory services, and leadership development. For more than 20 years, Howard has worked with startups at all stages, from initial phases through go-to-market and scaling up, to successful exits. His experience at leading and advising corporations, such as Ultimaker Americas, Kymeta Corporation, Imagine Communications, and the National Football League will provide HiveWatch with strategy, operations, sales, and finance expertise at an important time for the company.

Caleb Sima is Chief Security Officer at Robinhood Markets. Prior to joining Robinhood, Caleb served as VP of Information Security at Databricks, a leading data analytics and machine learning company where he built the security team from the ground up. Before Databricks, he was a Managing VP at CapitalOne, where he spearheaded many of their security initiatives. Caleb also founded SPI Dynamics and BlueBox security, which were acquired by HP and Lookout. He is regarded as one of the pioneers of application security and holds multiple patents in the space, and is also the author of Web Hacking Exposed. He serves as an advisor, investor, and board member for security companies.

John “Jack” Sullivan is the Chief Security and Resiliency Officer at Boston Scientific, specializing in crisis management, enterprise risk management, business continuity, executive protection, and disaster recovery. His previous roles include CSO of Starbucks and VP of Security at Dunkin’ Donuts. He serves as an advisor to several venture-backed security companies, such as Living Security, ThreatBlockr, RaySecur, and Cyberhaven, and is a frequent contributor to Fast Company and Forbes. He holds an MBA from The Sloan School at MIT and a master’s degree in government from Harvard.

Kristen Johansen is Vice President of Product at ActBlue, a powerful online fundraising platform that makes it possible for anyone to build a grassroots campaign or movement and give donors an easy and secure way to support their favorite candidates and causes. Kristen specializes in guiding companies to success through the scale-up phase, including developing and evolving teams, processes, products, and strategies through rapid change. Previously, she held executive leadership positions in product development and management with Bellwether Coffee, SecureDocs, Adero, and Sonos.

Dean Geribo leads Moderna’s Corporate Security Department, with overall responsibilities globally in the areas of physical and technical security, insider threat, global intelligence, brand protection, executive protection and aviation, and business resilience since 2020. Before joining Moderna he served as Chief Security Officer at Alcon, where he managed the company’s security portfolio across seventy-five countries and more than twenty manufacturing facilities globally. Dean also spent 9 years with Novartis, where he held various roles and responsibilities in the executive protection functions, middle and director level management roles at both regional and business unit levels. Dean is also a former law enforcement professional, United States Marine, and is an advisory board member at RaySecur, Base Operations, and at EP2.

Chandler Bondan is the Chief People Officer at BuzzFeed. Prior to this, they served as the Director of People Development at Advantage Solutions, where they led an agile team in implementing programs and initiatives aligned with business strategy in the areas of learning, performance, recognition, career development, organizational design, talent planning, and leadership programs. Bondan joined Buzzfeed from IN Marketing, where they served as Manager of Creative Design from February 2009 to April 2013.

Bernard Harguindeguy is the former founder of Elastic Beam, a software company that uses artificial intelligence to monitor APIs and help understand when they have been compromised, which was acquired by Ping Identity in 2018. As CTO, Bernard helped lead Ping Identity through their IPO and recent acquisition. He previously served as Chairman, President and CEO at Atlantis Computing and has added his expertise to a number of technology companies as chairman throughout his career.
