Inxeption, the leader in Industrial Commerce, today announced it has welcomed Jeff Sanders, vice chair and co-managing partner of the global CEO and board of directors practice for Heidrick & Struggles, to its board of directors.
Sanders, who also serves on the consulting firm’s global management committee, has had various roles at Heidrick & Struggles since 1997.
“Adding Jeff’s global business and leadership experience to Inxeption’s board is just one way we’re continuing to grow as the leader in the Industrial Commerce field,” said Inxeption CEO and co-founder Farzad Dibachi. “I am glad to have Jeff’s counsel as we move into the next phase of our rapid expansion, scaling internationally while we continue adding industry verticals to our marketplace.”
Industrial companies have been left behind in the push for digitization, leaving them with inefficient manual supply chain processes. Inxeption solves this pain point through its vertical marketplaces for supply chain, enabled by an industrial search engine and digital infrastructure platform.
“I invested in Inxeption early on because I was captivated by the promise of executing on a truly big idea, and I joined the board in May of last year to work more closely with the team as they continue to build both market momentum and scale,” said John W. Thompson. Thompson was previously the chairman of the board at Microsoft and continues to serve as lead independent board director. “I’ve known Jeff for a number of years and have worked closely with him on several projects. I am pleased to welcome him and his considerable expertise to the Inxeption board.”
Sanders comes to Inxeption at an exciting time for the five-year-old startup. “The promise of revolutionizing an age-old problem in the industrial space with purposeful digital technology is thrilling,” Sanders said. “I’m looking forward to adding value to Inxeption’s mission to help industrial buyers and sellers finally achieve digital transformation.”
Inxeption is the leading technology platform digitizing the global Industrial Commerce value chain. We are advocates for our ecosystem of suppliers and buyers, enabling them to Do Business Better.
