The Gildred Companies is pleased to announce that Brook Logan has joined the team as Chief Financial Officer. Before joining the Gildred Companies, Brook was an integral member of the team that founded, scaled and sold Emerald Textiles, a commercial healthcare laundry operator in San Diego that grew from start up in 2010 to the leader of the Southern California market. Emerald Textiles sold in July 2018 in one of the industry’s most significant transactions.
During her tenure at Emerald, Brook successfully implemented all operating systems and protocols while building the corporate infrastructure from the ground up. She led a team of professionals responsible for the Accounting, IT, Legal, Human Resources, Marketing and Administrative functions.
Prior to her time at Emerald she was with Eli Lilly where she held key accounting and management roles. Earlier in her career, Brook was with SGX Pharmaceuticals and assisted with the company’s successful Initial Public Offering (IPO) before their acquisition by Eli Lilly. She began her career in Ernst & Young’s tax department.

Brook is a native San Diegan and holds both bachelor’s and master’s degrees from San Diego State University.
